"Both of these tunes were written and recorded between 2018 and 2020 and accurately reflect my focuses and surroundings during that time. Attending raves on the weekend is fun, especially in the blossomed Brisbane scene - but there is something to be said for supplementing that lifestyle with nature immersion and a focus on life’s natural beauties.

I find that writing comes most easily in a relaxed, open state. Which, for me, occurs most naturally when set up in a spot in the woods, near the coast, in the sun or returning to studio after enjoying a selection of those.

The Fax/Island EP was written for listening, dancing, relaxing, socialising, walking, meditating. Whatever you may find in it. Natural, soft synths and instruments immerse the listener while percussive elements add depth and texture. I find great solitude in these tracks and hope that listeners find the same.
